Sous Vide Pork Chops

Simple yet delicious juicy sous vide pork chops finished on the BBQ for a couple of minutes.  Perfect with Parsnip Puree.

2-4 Pork chops - 1 1/2-2lbs
1 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Ground pepper
2 tbsp Fresh sage, thyme, rosemary, chopped (2 tbsp total)
2 tbsp Olive oil
  1. Add salt, pepper, sage, thyme, rosemary, and olive oil to a zip-lock or vacuum-seal bag
  2. Place pork chops in the bag and thoroughly coat pork chops with herbs
  3. Seal bag and set aside until ready to start sous vide
  4. When ready place in a pot with sous-vide and water
  5. When water has come to temperature sous vide for approximately 90 minutes at 145F
  6. After 90 minutes and sous vide finished prepare your BBQ or grill
  7. Remove pork chops from bag and place on grill for about 2-3 minutes on each side to get a nice sear and grill marks
  8. Rest pork chops for a few minutes
  9. Serve with your favourite side dishes
  10. Enjoy!
