Who knew the wonders of cooking and BBQ'ing with Dr. Pepper. An easy and simple recipe that never fails and always pleases. Serve hot or cold with your favorite site dished.

Ingredients
3-4 lbs beef or pork ribs
2 Star anise
5 Tsp Allspice
1 ¾ l Dr. Pepper
6 Tbsp brown sugar
1 ½ Tbsp Dijon mustard
6 Tbsp Ketchup
2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
3 Tbsp Soy Sauce
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 325F
  2. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs
  3. Using a large roasting pan place the ribs where the membrane was side down in a single layer.
  4. Pour 1 ½ liters of Dr. Pepper over the ribs
  5. Add star anise and allspice
  6. Cover tightly for two hours
  7. To create the sauce or glaze use a saucepan
  8. Add 7oz of Dr. Pepper and all remaining ingredients
  9. Simmer until thick
  10. After two hours remove ribs from the oven and increase heat to 400F. These ribs are also delicious finished on the BBQ!
  11. Turn the ribs over (membrane side up) and cover with sauce
  12. Return to oven for 30 minutes or BBQ continue to glaze the ribs
  13. Once cooked serve cut into sections along with your other favorite side dishes
  14. Enjoy!
