Simple Maple Pecan Tarts
Really couldn’t be more simple and tasty. Can be prepared quickly. Use store bought pastry shells for even more simple.
1 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp flour
1/2 cup maple syrup
1/2 cup 35% cream
1 cup pecans
Forget about making the pastry, buy the frozen pastry shells (tarts or pie) .... much easier!
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- In a large bowl, assemble all pie ingredients (except nuts) and stir well to mix.
- Spoon pie mixture to the pastry shell tarts
- Top with pecans
- Bake for about 50 minutes or until set.
- Cool before serving.
