Simple Maple Pecan Tarts

Really couldn’t be more simple and tasty.  Can be prepared quickly.  Use store bought pastry shells for even more simple.

Filling
3 eggs
1 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp flour
1/2 cup maple syrup
1/2 cup 35% cream
1 cup pecans
Pastry
Forget about making the pastry, buy the frozen pastry shells (tarts or pie) .... much easier!
Instructions

Filling:

  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. In a large bowl, assemble all pie ingredients (except nuts) and stir well to mix.
  3. Spoon pie mixture to the pastry shell tarts
  4. Top with pecans
  5. Bake for about 50 minutes or until set.
  6. Cool before serving.
