Sesame chicken that is so fast and easy to make. Tastes perfect every time.

J Wright
Ingredients
2 tbsp sesame seeds
2-3 boneless chicken breasts, cut into 1" pieces
2 tbsp cornstarch
1 tbsp canola oil
1/2 cup pineapple juice
1/4 cup honey
3 tbsp light soy sauce
1 red chilli pepper, de-seeded, finely chopped
2 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
2 green onions, chopped
Instructions
  1. Using a large skillet heat over medium-high heat until hot
  2. Add 2 Tbsp. sesame seeds, and cook, stirring constantly, 3 to 4 minutes or until seeds are toasted. Remove seeds from skillet and set aside. Important: the seeds will cook quickly and continue to brown if not removed from skillet immediately.
  3. Combine chicken and cornstarch in a bowl and toss until well coated
  4. Heat canola oil in skillet over medium-high heat
  5. Add chicken and cook until done, about 5 minutes
  6. Reduce heat to medium, add pineapple juice, honey, soy sauce, red chilli pepper and fresh ginger
  7. Bring to a boil stirring occasionally until sauce has thickened
  8. Place chicken and sauce on a serving platter (or directly on plates)
  9. Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds and garnish with green onions
  10. Serve with your favourite rice like basmati
