Pork Chops and Maple Beets

Delicious pork chops with sweet beets and maple syrup.

Ingredients
2-4 Pork Chops - thick
1 Tbsp Corriander seeds
2 Beets (medium/large) diced
3/4 cup Maple syrup
3/4 cup Chicken broth
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
1 Tbsp Butter
Salt & Pepper
Instructions
  1. Grind coriander seeds and add salt & pepper
  2. Rub pork chops with corriander and set aside
  3. Preheat over to 350F
  4. Peel beets and dice
  5. In saucepan and beets, maple syrup, chicken broth, Worcestershire sauce and bring to a boil for about 10 minutes
  6. Using a cast iron skillet (preferred), add butter and brown both sides and edges
  7. Add beet sauce to skillet and place in oven at 350F for approximately 15 minutes, depending on thickness of chops
  8. Once pork chops are cook through remove and cover in foil
  9. Place skillet over medium/high heat and allow sauce to thicken
  10. Plate pork chops and spoon beet sauce over
  11. Serve with your favourite vegetables
  12. Enjoy!
