Spicy Pork Ramen

This Spicy Pork Ramen is so simple and delicious your friends will think you spent hours preparing.

Ingredients
2 tbsp Canola oil
4 Garlic cloves - chopped finely
2" Ginger - chopped finely
1lb (500g) Ground pork
1/2 cup Mirin
4 tbsp Light soy sauce (Important to use light)
1/2 cup Red miso paste
2 tbp Chilli paste or sauce
6 cups Chicken broth
4 Eggs - hard boiled
400g Ramen noodles - dry
6 Bok choy
Bamboo shoots - thinly sliced
4 Green onions
2 tbsp Sesame seeds toasted (black or white)
Instructions
  1. Heat oil in frying pan - medium heat
  2. Add ginger and garlic and saute for a few minutes
  3. Add ground pork and continue cooking until meat is cooked through
  4. In a bowl combine mirin, soy sauce amd chilli paste
  5. Add mixture to meat and blend well - reduce heat
  6. Heat chicken stock in a saucepan
  7. Using another saucepan add water to prepare to cook ramen noodles
  8. Add noodles to water
  9. When noodles are ready add bok choy to the boiling noodles and cook for about 30 seconds (or cook separately)
  10. Drain noodles and bok choy
  11. Add noodles to serving bowls
  12. Place bok choy on noodles
  13. Spoon some pork mixture in bowl
  14. Add 1 1/2 cups chicken broth
  15. Garnish with with green onions, bamboo shoots
  16. Place two halves of egg on top
  17. Spinkle with roasted sesame seeds
  18. Enjoy!
