Raita is an excellent yogurt-based condiment that can help reduce the heat if a dish is just a little too hot and spicy.
3/4 cup natural (plain) yogurt
2-3 tbsp fresh mint, chopped
1 garlic clove, crushed
- Add all ingredients and blend well
- Place in refrigerator for an hour to allow mixture to fuse
- Serve with your favourite Indian dish and enjoy!
