Delicious flavors of Japan.  Green Tea Beef Yakitori marinated in green tea, ginger, lemongrass and other tasty ingredients.

Ingredients
1/3 cup (80ml) light soy sauce
2 tbsp sweet chili sauce
2 lemon grass stems (inner core only) grated
1 tsp chilli oil
1 tsp loose-leaf green tea
1 cm piece ginger, grated
2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
600g beef fillet steak, cut into 3cm pieces
Pickled ginger
Instructions
  1. Place the soy sauce, sweet chilli sauce, lemon grass, chilli oil, green tea, ginger and coriander in a large bowl
  2. Add beef, stirring to coat, then place in fridge to marinate for 4 hours or overnight
  3. Place 12 wooded skewers in a bowl of cold water and allow to soak for 1 hour
  4. Meanwhile preheat BBQ
  5. Drain the beef, then thread on soaked skewers.
  6. Chargrill the beef, turning, for 3-4 minutes for rare or until your liking
  7. Rest, loosely covered with foil, 2-3 minutes
  8. Serve the beef skewers with your favorite seasoned rice and pickled ginger
  9. Enjoy!
